Hardworking artist-in-residence, Martin Bush is based in the rather chilly, but capacious New Cooperage Building in the Royal William Yard.  He has a wide range of paintings available – all abstracts, painted with energy and an impressive eye for colour.  I particularly like his river flow series which manage to remind me of the coast along the Plymouth to Exeter railway line as well as the tea-stained, cayenne-sanded landscape of the Northern Territory in Australia.  Not too shabby.  He also produces smaller, reasonably priced originals to frame up or will accept cheque installments for a painting.
